Your 3-Day Fes to Merzouga Desert Tour begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or riad in Fes. Travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, the “Little Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you may encounter the famous Barbary macaques.
Continue to Midelt for a relaxing lunch, then drive through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, renowned for its lush palm groves and panoramic oasis views. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the majestic Erg Chebbi Dunes.
Enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the golden Sahara as the sun sets, leading you to a traditional Berber desert camp. After a warm welcome, savor a delicious Moroccan dinner, gather around the campfire for live Berber music, and spend a magical night beneath the stars in the heart of the Sahara Desert.
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. Before breakfast, you may enjoy sandboarding on the dunes surrounding the camp. After breakfast, collect your luggage and meet your driver, who will be waiting to pick you up in the desert.
