Day 1 - Marrakech / High Atlas Mountains / Ait Ben Haddou View/ Tinghir / Merzouga Desert

Your desert adventure begins with an early departure from Marrakech. Cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops to enjoy the panoramic mountain scenery.

Continue towards Ouarzazate, with a short stop for a panoramic view of the famous Ait Ben Haddou village and its ancient kasbahs. There is no time for a full visit, but you can enjoy the impressive view and take some photos.

Continue through the Valley of Roses and the beautiful landscapes of southern Morocco before heading towards Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Arrive in the Sahara in the evening, settle into your desert accommodation, enjoy dinner, and spend your first night surrounded by the peaceful desert atmosphere.

Overnight: Merzouga Desert ( The Camp)

Day 2-Merzouga Day Trip

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. Before breakfast, you may enjoy sandboarding on the dunes surrounding the camp. After breakfast, collect your luggage and meet your driver, who will be waiting to pick you up in the desert.

Begin your desert discovery tour with a visit to local Berber nomad families living in traditional black tents. Experience their warm hospitality as you share a glass of freshly brewed Moroccan tea while learning about their unique way of life.

Continue your journey to the historic M’Fis (Mascara) Mine, an abandoned mining site located in the heart of the desert that offers fascinating insights into the region’s history.

Next, visit the village of Khamlia, renowned for its rich Gnawa heritage. Enjoy a live performance of authentic Gnawa music, a unique cultural tradition with deep African roots.

Afterwards, savor a delicious traditional Berber pizza for lunch before exploring the desert oasis and its lush palm groves, where local families cultivate their farms using ancient irrigation systems.

Arrive at your hotel in Merzouga at approximately 3:00 PM, where you can relax and enjoy the swimming pool or unwind at your leisure.

Day 3- Merzouga Desert / Alnif / Draa Valley / Marrakesh

Wake up early to witness one of the highlights of your Sahara adventure—the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast at the desert camp, you will leave the Sahara and begin your journey back to Marrakech.

Today’s route offers a completely different landscape as we drive through the volcanic mountains, where acacia trees line both sides of the road, creating a unique contrast to the sand dunes. We will then travel through the magnificent Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest valley, famous for its endless palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and traditional Berber villages stretching for more than 200 kilometers.

After passing through Ouarzazate, we will continue across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying several Breaks for the Bathroom and refreshments before arriving back in Marrakech in the evening, where your unforgettable desert tour comes to an end
