Day 1 - Casablanca / Rabat / Chefchaouen

After breakfast, travel to Morocco’s capital city, Rabat. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Kasbah of the Udayas, and enjoy views of the Atlantic coast. Continue through the beautiful Rif Mountains to the enchanting Blue City of Chefchaouen. Spend the evening exploring its charming blue-painted streets and lively square.

Day 2 - Chefchaouen / Volubilis / Meknes / Fes

After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and travel towards the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its remarkably preserved mosaics, temples, and triumphal arch. Enjoy a guided walk through this fascinating archaeological site and discover the remains of one of the Roman Empire’s southernmost settlements.

Continue to the Imperial City of Meknes, where you will enjoy lunch before exploring some of its most famous landmarks, including the impressive Bab Mansour Gate, El Hedim Square, and the exterior of the Royal Granaries and Moulay Ismail’s historic walls.

In the late afternoon, continue your journey to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Upon arrival, check in to your riad or hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 3 - Fes Guided Tour

After breakfast, meet your licensed local guide for a full-day sightseeing tour of Fes, Morocco’s oldest Imperial City and spiritual capital. Begin with a visit to the Royal Palace (exterior), famous for its magnificent golden gates, before continuing to the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah).

Next, enjoy a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the ancient medina before entering the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali, one of the world’s largest car-free medieval cities. Wander through its maze of narrow streets, bustling souks, and traditional artisan workshops.

During your guided tour, visit the renowned Al Quaraouiyine University, considered the world’s oldest continuously operating university, the beautiful Bou Inania Madrasa, and the famous Chouara Tannery, where leather is still dyed using centuries-old traditional methods.

Day 4 - Fes / Ifrane / Midelt / Ziz Valley / Merzouga

Your journey Fes to Merzouga Desert begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or riad in Fes. Travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, the “Little Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you may encounter the famous Barbary macaques.

Continue to Midelt for a relaxing lunch, then drive through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, renowned for its lush palm groves and panoramic oasis views. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the majestic Erg Chebbi Dunes.

Enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the golden Sahara as the sun sets, leading you to a traditional Berber desert camp. After a warm welcome, savor a delicious Moroccan dinner, gather around the campfire for live Berber music, and spend a magical night beneath the stars in the heart of the Sahara Desert.

Day 5 - Merzouga Day Trip

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. Before breakfast, you may enjoy sandboarding on the dunes surrounding the camp. After breakfast, collect your luggage and meet your driver, who will be waiting to pick you up in the desert.

Begin your desert discovery tour with a visit to local Berber nomad families living in traditional black tents. Experience their warm hospitality as you share a glass of freshly brewed Moroccan tea while learning about their unique way of life.

Continue your journey to the historic M’Fis (Mascara) Mine, an abandoned mining site located in the heart of the desert that offers fascinating insights into the region’s history.

Next, visit the village of Khamlia, renowned for its rich Gnawa heritage. Enjoy a live performance of authentic Gnawa music, a unique cultural tradition with deep African roots.

Upon arrival, enjoy a walk through the impressive Todra Gorge, where towering limestone cliffs rise up to 300 meters, making it one of Morocco’s most breathtaking natural attractions. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village, where you’ll have time to explore its ancient kasbahs and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping along the way to admire breathtaking panoramic views and traditional Berber villages.
