In the afternoon, arrive at the desert and enjoy a camel trek through the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Day 1-Ouarzazat / Skoura / Todgha Gorge / Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Ouarzazate and begin your journey toward the Sahara Desert.

Drive through the beautiful Skoura Palm Grove, famous for its palm trees and traditional kasbahs, before continuing toward Boumalne Dades. Enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Dades Valley as you make your way toward Todra Gorge, located near the town of Tinghir.

Continue through the spectacular Todgha Valley and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading toward the Sahara Desert.

Before arriving in Merzouga, stop at a traditional Berber shop where you can try on authentic desert clothing and take memorable photos. Wearing the traditional outfit is completely optional, and photos taken while wearing it are free of charge. Headscarves are also available to wear during your camel trekking experience.

Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes. Meet your camel caravan and ride across the golden sand dunes as the sun begins to set, creating unforgettable views of the Sahara.

Spend the night in a comfortable desert camp, where you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by Berber music, drumming around the campfire, dancing under the stars, and an unforgettable night in the heart of the desert.

Important Note: If you would like to enjoy wine during your stay at the desert camp, please purchase it before arriving in Merzouga, as alcoholic beverages are not available at the desert camps.

Day 2 - Merzouga / Rissani / Draa Valley / Ouarzazat

After breakfast at your Camp, your driver will meet you to begin a new day of exploration toward Ouarzazate. Your first stop is Rissani, a historic town famous for the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and its traditional souks. If your visit coincides with a market day, you can experience the lively local souk held on Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday. Rissani is also known for its traditional gîtes and authentic local atmosphere.

Continue your journey through spectacular volcanic mountains, known for their mineral-rich landscapes and areas where marble and fossils can be found. You will have several opportunities to stop along the way and enjoy the scenery before continuing to Nkob, where you will have lunch.

In the afternoon, continue through the magnificent Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest valley and one of the country’s most beautiful oases, surrounded by thousands of palm trees, traditional villages, and ancient kasbahs. Finally, continue toward Ouarzazate.
