Itinerary
After breakfast, depart from your accommodation in Rabat and begin your private journey toward Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most beautiful and photogenic destinations. The drive takes you through the peaceful countryside and rolling landscapes of northern Morocco before reaching the Rif Mountains.
Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, start exploring the famous Blue Medina, known for its narrow streets, white-and-blue houses, colorful doors, and peaceful atmosphere. Take your time wandering through the old town, where you can discover traditional handicraft shops, small local cafés, and hidden corners decorated with flowers and colorful Moroccan details.
Continue to Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the heart of the medina, surrounded by restaurants, cafés, and historic buildings. From here, you can admire the Kasbah of Chefchaouen, a historic fortress located in the center of the old town.
For a different perspective of the city, walk toward the Spanish Mosque, situated on a hill overlooking Chefchaouen. This is one of the best places to enjoy panoramic views of the blue-painted medina and the surrounding Rif Mountains, especially around sunset.

After breakfast, leave the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen and travel through the scenic Rif Mountains toward Fes, Morocco’s oldest Imperial City and cultural capital.
Upon arrival, meet your licensed local guide for a fascinating sightseeing tour of Fes. Explore the historic Fes el-Bali Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Royal Palace (outside view), the colorful Chouara Leather Tanneries, the Al Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the famous Al Quaraouiyine University, recognized as the world’s oldest continuously operating university.

Your journey Fes to Merzouga Desert begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or riad in Fes. Travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, the “Little Switzerland of Morocco,” before continuing to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you may encounter the famous Barbary macaques.
Continue to Midelt for a relaxing lunch, then drive through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, renowned for its lush palm groves and panoramic oasis views. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the majestic Erg Chebbi Dunes.
Enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the golden Sahara as the sun sets, leading you to a traditional Berber desert camp. After a warm welcome, savor a delicious Moroccan dinner, gather around the campfire for live Berber music, and spend a magical night beneath the stars in the heart of the Sahara Desert.

In the afternoon, continue along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations, lush oasis, and winding mountain roads. After breakfast, depart the beautiful Dades Valley and travel along the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the fragrant Valley of Roses and the lush Skoura Oasis before arriving in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
