Day Trip to Ifrane & the Middle Atlas Mountains from Fes

Your day begins with a morning pickup from your riad or hotel in Fes before heading south into the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, forests, and traditional villages.

Your first stop is Ifrane, Morocco’s cleanest and most picturesque mountain town. Wander through its peaceful parks, admire its European-inspired architecture, and take photos at the iconic Stone Lion.

Continue to Azrou, a charming Amazigh town famous for its cedar forests. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to walk among centuries-old cedar trees and watch the playful Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. Please avoid feeding the monkeys, as it can negatively affect their health and behavior.
