Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Riad or hotel in Marrakech at 9:00 AM. Leave the city behind as you travel across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. Along the way, enjoy several photo stops to admire the breathtaking landscapes, traditional Berber villages, and winding mountain roads.
Continue to the picturesque village of Telouet, where you will visit the historic Telouet Kasbah, once the magnificent residence of the powerful Glaoui family. Explore its beautifully decorated rooms and learn about its fascinating history.
After the visit, drive along the scenic Ounila Valley to the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Morocco’s best-preserved fortified village. Accompanied by a local guide, stroll through the ancient ksar, discover its unique earthen architecture, and hear stories of the many international films and television series filmed here, including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with a rooftop terrace overlooking the historic kasbah before continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Upon arrival, check in to your Riad or hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

After breakfast at your Riad, begin the day with a visit to the impressive Taourirt Kasbah, one of Morocco’s finest examples of traditional southern architecture. Wander through its maze of rooms, courtyards, and towers while learning about its important role in the region’s history.
Next, visit the famous Atlas Studios, the largest film studio in Africa. Explore the impressive movie sets used in world-renowned productions such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, The Mummy, and many others. Discover behind-the-scenes stories and see how the magic of cinema is created in the heart of the Moroccan desert.
After the visits, begin your return journey to Marrakech. Travel once again through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way to enjoy the scenery, take photos, or relax with a coffee break.
Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your Riad or hotel, bringing your unforgettable 2-day journey to a close.
